CenMass Update
Central Mass DH was a ton of fun!
Congratulations to rider Josh Wright for taking 4th overall in the slide jam, and throwing down some of the best hardwheel routines the east coast has ever seen. I’m not sure that this audience was the best for hardwheels, but here’s to Josh for nailing some of the hardest tricks in the hardwheel game.
Congratulations also to Laura Nocka, who took 2nd in Women’s Freeride, and 1st in Women’s Longest Standup. (even though Laura was the only female holding out standup slides, she still went BIG)
She also competed in the downhill race, where her female peers appealed to the organizer to have the female division allowed to miss the super GS cones that were placed on the course, turning the course into a cakewalk. Though they were granted the handicap, Laura fought hard against it, and then refused to accept it, rode all of the cones anyway, and STILL took a close 2nd place. GO LAURA.
We are so proud to support a rider that’s showing the scene that girls don’t need to be babied.
We are glad that so many were enamored with the first place prize; a Carbon Sparrow set up with IndeeSZ and orange Fatfrees. We are finishing up the fixture for a CNC setup that will allow us to bring these boards to market for everyone.
